Fire police serve within the Green Township Fire Department and provide an extremely important purpose within it.  Fire police is a way prospective members can serve their community without being a firefighter.  One of the most important jobs at a fire scene, the fire police control traffic and apparatus.  The traffic control provided by the fire police is essential to the safety of the firefighters and EMT's working on the scene.

       The Green Township Fire Police is headed by Chief Vinny Cammisa.  Fire police serve under his command to control traffic, direct apparatus, and make fire scenes safer for firefighters, EMT's, as well as citizens.  In order to become a fire police officer within the GTFD, contact Chief Rich Porzilli or Assistant Chief Nick Pachnos.
