March 3, 2007

On March 3, the GTFD's Annual Installation Dinner was held at the Adam Todd Restaurant in Byram Township.  Ceremonies included the swearing in of line officers and administrative officers as well as the introduction of new members and the presentation of some "awards."  Members of the department from its founding in 1947 through today were present along with their supportive family members and dedicated wives.  The GTFD would also like to take the time to thank the officers and members from neighboring departments who attended the ceremonies.  Below, one of the founding members from 1947, Ralph Shotwell, received a department jacket from the current members.
